Midway Baptist Church was established in 1924 by a group of families how found it difficult to attend their current churches when the creek overflowed.  Seriously, that is why Midway was formed.

 

The name came from the location being “midway” between two Baptist churches the charter members had previously attended.

 

Since that time Midway has grown to become a church with approximately 200 active members.
