Eric Maroney was called to pastor Midway in September of 2023.

 

Eric has been married to Julie Maroney for more than 30 years. They have two grown children, Nathan and Kayleigh, both currently living in North Carolina.

 

Prior to coming to Midway, Eric and Julie served 25 years in Croatia with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.

 

Eric is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA, and received his MDiv degree from Golden Gate Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, CA and his PhD from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.

Neal joined the team at Midway Baptist Church in May 2018 as the Youth Pastor. In the fall of 2024, he stepped into a new role as the church's first Associate Pastor, expanding his focus to include broader pastoral duties while remaining committed to leading and mentoring the youth.

 

Neal and his wife, Amber, are the proud parents of two children, Graham and Caroline.

Michael has been our secretary and treasurer since 1999. He is a retired 8th grade teacher from Piedmont Middle School.

 

He has been married to Tina Weaver for 42 years. They have 3 children & 6 grandchildren.

 

He is on our building & grounds committee as well as the stewardship committee.

 

Michael's life verse is Matthew 6:33.​

Mike & his wife Audra have served in the music ministry at Midway for 13+ years.

As worship leader, he strives to blend rich hymns with modern praise & worship songs to reach all generations represented in our congregation through music. He’s focused on overall ministry & outreach through many opportunities offered at Midway.

 

He received a certificate in worship leadership from Fruitland Baptist Bible College in 2022.
