What to expect on a visit to Midway Baptist Church...

Midway Baptist reflects its community, drawing members from Monroe, Wingate, Marshville, and the surrounding area. Some of our members have belonged to Midway for decades while we also have others recently new to the area.

Our Sunday Morning worship service begins at 11:00. Our morning service primarily consists of worship and teaching; we also have a time of announcements, greeting, and giving. Please do not feel obligated to give as a visitor, simply pass the plate on. And please don’t feel startled if folks want to shake your hand and welcome you, they’re just glad you’re visiting!

We provide childcare for infants during the entire service, older children are in the service with us until the sermon, when they exit to “Children’s Church.”

There is no dress code, some of our members choose to dress up, others are more casual. You are welcome to come as you are.

You are also welcome at our other events during the week...

Every Sunday morning, we have Sunday School for all ages, beginning at 9:45. This is a time of teaching, sharing, and fellowship.

Sunday evening is less formal, with a fellowship time beginning at 5:45 and a time of teaching at 6:15. Once again, childcare is provided.

Wednesday events begin with AWANA at 6:30 and our weekly prayer meeting at 7:00.

And for youth, those in 7th grade and up, every Sunday morning during Sunday School, and Sunday and Wednesday evenings, join the Crew, Midway’s youth group, where you can learn about following Christ with those who are living with the same challenges and experiences that you are.
